Canadian Wood showcased structural Wood Home construction along with wood products like decking, panelling and cladding in western hemlock and western red cedar as well as furniture products. They were present in the exhibition in Mumbai with a separate concept of showcasing green products in the subsidiary exhibition of Greenbuld India conference and Expo.
Canadian species are medium density, easy to transport, easy to work, easy on tools and blades whether handtools or heavier machinery, easy to use. The USP of Canadian wood in the changing market conditions is that it has 5 species, each is unique in appearance and properties, versatile in many applications and 2 species are naturally durable – means they can be used outdoors, exposed to weather in India’s harsh climates.
