India PVC laminate manufacturers have decided to increase the prices of PVC sheets to Rs. 100 per sheet in a zoom meeting held on 25th Feb, 2021. All 20 Indian PVC laminates producers had attended the meeting and collectively decided to increase the prices to meet high cost of their raw materials.
Manufacturers view that the substantial hike in prices of All Raw Materials such as PVC Resins (15- 20%) and Chemicals (20-45%) along with major hike in cost of International freight and PVC film by more than 15-25% in last 15 days, all member of All India PVC Laminate Manufacturer Association has decided to raise the price of PVC laminates with immediate effect from minimum Rs 100 per sheet as per their respective price list for all series.
Producers say that since the market is very bullish on raw materials and keeping a vision to maintain the demand of their products, they are not passing the complete hike in their cost to market and review will be done in pricing in next 30 days if prices of raw materials increase further.
It is noted that high raw materials prices have compelled PVC laminates producers to increase prices 3rd time in last 4 month, hence this product prices went up to Rs 250 to 300 per sheets.
