Film Faced Ply Manufacturers have decided to increase prices of entire range of Shuttering ply by Rs 1/ sq ft, which will be effective from 15th September, 2021. The decision has been taken in a meeting of Film Faced Ply Manufacturers under the Chairmanship of Mr Devinder Chawla, President, AIPMA on 1^st September, 2021 in Yamunanagar, Haryana.   

During the meeting everyone was of strong view that payment schedule has improved to quite an extent and the dealers understand that bad paymasters will very soon be out of business. It was also requested to share the names of defaulting dealers. There name will be highlighted on national platform and the AIPMA will try to help the effected parties.

The shortage of timber and its price escalation due to rainy season was also discussed. Everyone was worried about the quality of logs and they requested that the AIPMA should talk to the timber traders to take appropriate steps in this regard.

The association conveyed that there are several improvements that are giving a positive sign for the industrial growth in the region as the formaldehyde situation has eased up due to the relief given by Supreme Court to the sealed units.
