Yamunanagar based Shuttering Ply Manufacturers have announced a price increase of Rs 4 per square foot, effective December 22, 2022.The decision was taken at the meeting held in Yamunanagar, Haryana.
The information received states that the Film Faced Plywood Manufacturers of Yamunanagar held a meeting under the chairmanship of Mr Devender Chawla, President, AIPMA, on December 22, 2022, and discussed the current supply issues of raw materials such as timber, face veneer, phenol, and formaldehyde. It is to be noted that the rates of timber had already increased, and now, for the last 15 days, the rates of chemicals are also increasing, due to which the input cost of the producers has increased to the next level that is unbearable.
All issues were thoroughly debated during the meeting, and it was decided to increase the prices of Shuttering ply with immediate effect. All members unanimously agreed to increase the sale price gradually and announced a Rs. 4.00 per sq ft increase in all categories of shuttering plywood. They also state that no orders will be accepted at the old rates, and payments will be made within 30 days at the most.
