Implementation of Mandatory QCO on Plywood, Shuttering Ply & Wooden Doors postponed
DPIIT under Ministry of Commerce and Industry has announced to postpone the implementation of Quality Control Order for mandatory BIS on Plywood (IS 303 & IS 710), Shuttering Ply (IS 4990), Flush Doors (IS 2202) for a year. The new date of implementation is 28th Feb, 2025 as per DPIIT notification dated 15th March 24. The Plywood and Wooden flush door shutters (Quality Control) Order, 2024 will be effective for the small and micro industry from 28th May 25 and 28th August 25 respectively.
