March 5th 2020

Earlier this month, the association implemented a price adjustment of Rs.1.00 per Sq.Ft. on 13-08-2025, to address escalating input and operational costs. The current decision makes an ultimate increase of Rs 3.00 per sqft in all bagasse board products.

Indian Bagasse Board Manufacturers Association has again decided to increase the price of Bagasse Particle Boards by Rs.2.00 per sqft in a meeting, held on 22nd August during MATECIA Exhibition Delhi.

Earlier this month, the association implemented a price adjustment of Rs.1.00 per Sqft. on 13-08-2025, to address escalating input and operational costs. The current decision makes an ultimate increase of Rs 3.00 per sqft in all bagasse board products.  As per the IBBMA, despite those efforts, ongoing increases in the cost of raw materials continued to outpace their previous pricing revisions.

IBBMA also notifies that in order to maintain the quality and service, the association finds it necessary to introduce an additional price adjustment of Rs.2.00 per sqft. w.e.f. 22-08-2025, implemented in all Bagasse Particle Board products which accounts for a total increment of Rs.3.00 per sqft.

Emphasizing on the rising input cost of final products, the association asserted that they have explored all other avenues to absorb these increases internally before reaching this point. This adjustment was essential to ensure we can continue to serve you sustainably.
